Roles and Responsibilities
- One of the core responsibilities of the general technician or general electrician will be to repair any electrical damages in the hotel.
- The technician must diagnose faulty systems to decipher the cause of the problem and resolve the issue.
- The electric equipment must be inspected to assure that they meet the coding requirements.
- During emergencies like electric breakdowns, the technician must provide assistance.
- Wiring should be checked and all the installed equipment should be tested to assure that it is in working condition.
- The worker should keep a record of the damages and inform about the equipment requirements to the manager.
- All the rooms should be checked before and after guests check out to assure that the next guests get rooms in working order.
- Safety-related incidents should be recorded and reported to the manager. The worker should also recommend any measures that need to be taken to prevent these incidents in future.
