They are looking for individuals with a passion for horses who enjoy working outdoors and have an eye for detail. This job requires the ability to work well under pressure and multi-task. Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential, as well as being comfortable around animals. Interested candidates must also have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Language: A candidate must be proficient in English.
Education Level: No High school diploma or degree is required.
Experience: 2 years experience as a herder/handler required.
Work Environment: Working conditions include exposure to weather but are not limited to.
Equipment and Machinery Experience: Must be capable of operating farming machinery such as tractors, trailers, trucks, automated milking machinery, etc.
Physical Demands: Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Schedule: Full-time positions available Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm.
Additional Skills: Must be willing to work outside during the summer months.
